Matchffinity.co.uk dating site was born out of Match.com after research produced a more detailed process of finding compatible people. It follows closely in the polls as well, with the matchaffinity reviews concreting second place of the sites we have looked at. There are over 5,000,000 registered members that use the site regularly and I can see why. It is a site that has made the gap closer between Match.com and Eharmony, using both vital working ingredients and combining them together to get a very balanced, researched and accurate dating website. The initial pages are very similar to Match.com but make the point effectively and are clearly defined and professional in its layout, statistics and information about the site can all be found in neat categories towards the bottom of the page in simple color coded sections, keeping you informed from the very beginning. On entering the first registration page there is detailed text explaining the exclusive affinity test, how it is researched, explaining why they do it and how it can help in your journey.
The questions are mostly standard, your expectations of a partner, your likes and dislikes. Some of the questions were more random but all as worthwhile as each other and obviously the more honest and detailed answers that you give will allow match affinity to compile a more accurate profile for you and the same for finding compatible matches. The progress bar at the top of each page of questions helps keep track of your progress. Though the test can be a little time consuming it is definitely worth seeing it through to the end, as you never know whom you might be matched with! And I found that some of the answers I gave using my first instinct surprised me so you never know what you may learn about yourself as well! After verification email, and a short wait your affinity test results are sent to you along with all compatible matches that were found for you. While you wait for your results you can continue answering some more standard questions and like and dislikes and then onto a much larger search interface, which is one of the big benefits within this site, having the compatible matches and being able to feel like you are still in control by compiling your own searches as well. After the lengthy questions you reach the main page where you can see who has viewed your profile, your messages and all main subject headings.
To the bottom is a selection of your compatible matches, which comprises of a picture, though blurred at this stage, the percentage the site thinks you are compatible with that person, and part of their profile. If you are interested in finding out more you can simply click on the green ‘are you interested ‘ button and find out more, if not the red one and the match changes. This is where the free trial ends really. To be able to communicate any further with anyone you will need to enter into a subscription, however for what you get free I think it gives you a good enough example of what to expect and you have already been told a selection of compatible matches so I would say if you are serious about finding that special someone then it is necessary to enter into a subscription and enjoy the full benefits from the site. There are four subscription offers available, ranging from 1 month through to 12 months and all extremely good value for money in my opinion. It make sense to commit to the 12 month package really as the longer time you can commit to the site and to your journey to finding love the more chance you have of getting to know someone, and to meet many more likeminded people along your way. There are many other financial incentives available including free weekends, where you can use all the service for free for the whole weekend, and plenty of new discounts and promo offers.
You needn’t rummage around looking for these offers either as they are all easily accessible or as a subscriber you are notified regularly. You can also find lighthearted dating quizzes and fun polls to take part in. On your homepage there is also a small box that states your percentage for a few qualities against your profile, including life morals, common values and personality, and shows how good a match you would be according to the answers you gave earlier.
